Session Information:
October 1st, 2023, brought about some wound-care regulatory changes. What are the changes, and how do they impact the coding of Section M of the MDS? What ICD-10 codes are appropriate? How should the new changes be implemented, coded, and captured? This presentation will cover the changes specific to wound care, designed to keep you updated on the most recent changes and best practice principles. We will review current literature on end-of-life wounds and discuss how end-of-life wounds should be documented and noted.
